The last few days, as a result of rising traffic numbers and an overloaded old server, we decided to undergo an upgrade. I’m not sure exactly what went wrong, but the techie guys tell me the site was “corrupted”. I could have told them that. Anyways to all you panicky, annoying-ass people who wouldn’t leave me alone the last 2 days, you didn’t miss much so relax. Here is basically what you missed:

Do you see what I’m saying? Multiply that by 2 and you missed a couple days of nothing. There was barely any Chicago sports news at all of interest. All kidding aside I appreciate all the concerned emails, texts, instant messages, phone calls, facebook messages and face-to-face discussions. My favorite suggestion came from reader Ethan: “Dude, Me and a bunch of guys have agreed to pool our money together to help you pay your bills and get your cheap-ass site back up and running.” The backhanded nature of that generous offer really touched my heart.

We will be on and off throughout the weekend as we fix the problems, so thanks for bearing with us.  Also in all sincerity we are very sorry for the difficulties.  On with the show.
