The early Final Four game yesterday was great. Butler and Michigan State had it out in a slugfest. The highlight of Butler’s win did not happen on the court, or even in Indianapolis. It happened at the White House a few days earlier. During halftime CBS showed Barack Obama playing against Clark Kellogg at the White House in a variation of HORSE called “POTUS”. In true March Madness form, cinderella story Barack O’Balla came from behind to upset Kellogg. Gotta love the irony of his filthy lefty jumper.

Some people around here think I drink too much Barack Obama Kool-Aid just because I mention every time he does anything remotely related to sports. Well when he has moments like this, its hard not to love him. In fact, anytime a sitting President mocks Magic Johnson with a Michael Jordan Bulls reference, I guarantee them a feature story on NQTC. Obama Doesn’t Lose To Girl, Avoids Schoolyard Mocking

Apparently Barack Obama shot hoops with the UConn Women’s Basketball team yesterday. Although reporters were not allowed to film the pick-up game, it appears that Barack did not lose to a girl:

Who won? Point guard Renee Montgomery offered the only report.

“He did!” she said. “The president can shoot!”

Whew, that would have been a bad one. I can just picture Kim Jong Il making fun of Barack for losing to a girl. With all the teams this president meets, I’m curious when actual work gets done.
