Michael Jackson passed away last night from a reported heart attack.  Although I am not a fan of pop music in general, and never really have been, Michael Jackson was always on another level.  Arguably one of the most talented artists of the 80s and even 90s, he made music that we will all love and cherish for the rest of our lives.

To address those of you that believe the king of pop is somehow a weirdo or strange, let me just say this: he had no childhood and was raised in a very high pressure adult environment.  He reacted by living out his childhood the only time he was able to: as an adult.  Before you are so quick to judge, look at your own life and imagine if you had been raised like him.

Yes he was a bit eccentric (and extremely creepy at times), but he enlightened an entire generation with his music and dance.  You will never be forgotten Michael.  Here’s a little video tribute:
