You guys are all retarded if you think rose is going over the border to Toronto your crazy! Rose is from Chicago and hes going to be there the rest of his career. The bulls will be better in a couple of years and if you guys think bosh is going to a city for scenary you guys are f in crazy. Bosh wants the most money and the best chance to win what they all want a championship and d-rose is a good starting point in chicago.

Hey here is a trade scenario. The Bulls have been in three trade rumors dealing with the Knicks, Washington, and Toronto. The last two teams may be able to get together with the Bulls and do a three team trade. Sending Antwan Jamison and Tyrus Thomas to Toronto, Kirk Hinrich and a pick to Washington, and Chris Bosh to Chicago. Hey its a possibility, especially since the Bulls have been in communication with both teams already. Whatever the Bulls do Im hoping, before the deadline is up, they find some expiring contracts for Kirk Hinrich, which will free up more money to sign two top of the line free agents. Chris Bosh and Joe Johnson or Dwanye Wade.

Colangelo is under no pressure to trade Bosh during the season. He’s said on the radio here a couple of times that if Bosh won’t re-sign, then his number 1 option would be to work a sign-and-trade in the offseason. Do you actually think he’s going to take Chicago’s pu-pu platter and ruin his chances at a playoff run this year? 100% he keeps Bosh for the full season no matter what and then see what happens from there. I still contend that all of the big free agents stay with their clubs.

Just coming off wins vs Orlando and SA….. vs who do the bulls beat again

If Bosh is leaving because things arent working in Toronto, why leave for a place where the team is on the verge of imploding. Everyone knows whats happening (or not happening in Chicago) and the Raps best of all. Seriously Jarret Jack tied his shoes……

What you’re witnessing here folks are angry Canadians who lash out whenever besmirches the Raptors or FC Toronto (They know the Blue Jays suck and will forever battle with Baltimore for 4th place in the AL East.) They might be all nice and friendly backpacking through Europe with their maple leaf patches sewn onto their satchels, but mention a trade rumor without said rumor coming from Bryan Colangelo or Andrea Bargnani’s father, and prepare to have your integrity and intelligence questioned.

If I were in CB4′s shoes I would be looking at 2 things: how much money would I keep after taxes and my supporting cast.
Canadian Federal and Ontario Provincial income tax rate for millionaires = 40%
US Federal and IL state income taxes = 36.95%
US Federal and FL (0%) state income taxes = 35%
So yes, he’d probably rather play in Florida, not only because of the weather, the clothing or lack thereof, and the pocketing of a lot more money after taxes.

In terms of supporting casts:
In Toronto after signing Hedo to the big contract last offseason, Bosh will be looking at the tall, athletic supporting cast of Turkoglu, Bargnani, DeRozan and Calderon/Jack at the point. Unfortunately, if he resigns for the max, he may still only be stuck at .500 for the next few years while Turkoglu ages and stays further and further away from the basket.
In Miami, Bosh is only guaranteed to have Michael “I told myself to go to Rehab” Beasley, Daequan Cook, and Mario Chalmers. They’d be favorite to win the NCAA Tournament 3 years ago, but that’s a lot of uncertainty and hope pinned on Wade coming back to fill that space.
Lastly, Chicago. Next year Bosh would be surrounded by Deng, Noah, Rose, and Gibson/Johnson. (I’m purposefully ignoring John Salmons as I hope he disappears through trade or supernatural forces.

Honestly, Deng is only 24 while Turkoglu is 30. Their careers are likely on different trajectories and Deng is having a better season statistically even in this year. With a consistent scoring threat inside, his play would only improve. Rose has the ability to be an annual All-Star. Ignoring James Johnson, Taj Gibson is having a surprisingly good rookie season, outplaying DeRozan. And most importantly, Bosh would get to play the PF position, with Noah banging inside and crashing the offensive boards. This alone will extend Bosh’s career and allow him to spot up for the jump shots.
Honestly, if you’re a PF/C who would you rather have as a teammate lining up as your fellow PF/C.
A guy averaging 16.8 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 1.1 apg, 1.3 bpg Efficiency +16.31
or
A guy averaging 10.6 ppg, 12.2 rpg, 2.3 apg, 1.8 bpg, Efficiency +19.85

Yeah you know you’d take the second guy, who is surprise! Joakim Noah.

I’m not trashing the Raptors because they do have a nice blend of players, but Bosh knows it’s not working up there. And by working I mean winning a championship. He’s going to be tempted to go elsewhere this offseason, so why wouldn’t Toronto try to get something for him?

For everyone out there who thinks that Bosh wants to go play for a team JUST BECAUSE its in America. He isn’t dumb. He was there to see what happened to Vince Carter.

When VC was in Toronto he was half-man half-amazing. When he left, he became half-man half-nothing. So much for that American dream. His best days remain in a Raptors uniform, unquestionably. Bosh is smarter than VC, if anyone would have learned from VC’s mistakes, it’s his successor, Christopher Wesson Bosh.

Dude, why would I ever want to play in Chicago??? If my man Colangelo trades me, there’s no way in hell I’m signing an extension with the Bulls. Give me South Beach any day of the week.

Although the extra $30 million the Raptors can offer will be tough to leave on the table. And if the Bulls somehow make the playoffs this year, the 1st round pick sent to Toronto won’t even be a lottery pick (I’m sure Colangelo is aware of this).

And you could make the argument that Tyrus Thomas belongs in the D-League (no offense Tyrus). If the Raptors trade me, I know Colangelo would pry either Deng or Rose (or both) from the Bulls…otherwise, there really isn’t any point…especially right now with the Raptors the hottest team in the Eastern Conference. Why break up a good thing?

Yeah this trade doesn’t make any sense for me. Sorry Bulls fans.

Yeah, this trade makes ZERO sense whatsoever. As a previous comment eluded, there’s NO WAY Colangelo takes on the Hinrich with both Calderon and Jack already on the roster.

And again, Bosh has ZERO reason whatsoever to want to play in Chicago (worse record, worse talent, worse coach, worse ownership). If by a miraculous act of God this trade goes down, the Bulls lose Bosh to free-agency at the end of the season.

And if you want to get technical, Bosh’s contract isn’t expiring. He’s signed until the 2010-11 season, but has a player’s opt out at the end of this season. He’s made no indication that he will exercise his right to opt-out. Do your research man…and good luck in the lottery this summer.
