Merry Christmas Lovie, Here’s a Billboard Calling For Your Firing
Things are going really badly around here these days. So badly in fact that not one, but two of our coaches are on the hot seat. While most people feel confident Vinny Del Negro is a dead man walking, for some reason the buzz around Lovie is that he may actually be back to coach the Bears next season. As much as I like the guy, he definitely deserves to be fired. I’m not the only one who feels that way, however. Bears Fans United, a group that was formed to help educate the McCaskey family on exactly how dumb they are for hiring and not firing Lovie Smith and Jerry Angelo, has raised enough money that they purchased this billboard over on Hintz Road in Arlington Heights northwest of Chicago. I agree with the sentiments of the billboard wholeheartedly. We can only pray it works, though I don’t know if any members of the McCaskey family will be able to see it through the tinted windows of their private jets and limos.
