Cap space arguments are getting old. Every team and their mother is trying to prepare for 2010. It's not like this is the only trade out there for Tyrus. Why jump at the first pu pu platter offered by a team when we can potentially lure somebody else in for a better trade that makes the Bulls better today and in the future? If we put all of our eggs in the 2010 basket, we could get burned big time. That being said, I made my comment above without looking at anything, and after checking out Harrington's stats, why not, haha. He actually seems like he could be decent and MUCH less frustrating than Tyrus. Here's to doing a complete 180 in the span of 30 seconds.

Disagreed. This trade is great solely b/c of the 2010 ramifications. The Bulls aren't doing shit this year (they still might make the playoffs) and anything of value we can get for Thomas is good. Al Harrington will be fine for the year. The cap space will be better. Also - the Knicks are to the Bulls what the Orioles/A's are to the Cubs.

Has anybody else noticed that the Knicks have become one of the Bulls main trading partners? This was great during the Isiah years (see Eddy Curry), and dumping Larry Hughes was quite good, so hopefully we can continue to rip them off at every chance we get. But this trade does not look good for the Bulls. Al Harrington? No thanks.
