Bulls Let Jarrett Jack Tie Shoe During Live Play (Farting in Locker Room Edition)

To have expected the Bulls to be any better than 7-11 at this point in the season would have been delusional.  Like I have said 10 million times, the Bulls are at best a .500 team (maybe 39-43 wins), and they just finished the toughest part of their schedule (5th toughest opponent winning percentage so far this year).  At 7-11 after that stretch they look to be on pace to finish around .500.

As comforting as that is, it does little to change what we’ve seen the past couple weeks.  Getting blown out during the Circus Trip is one thing, but coming home and getting absolutely pummeled by Toronto at home really makes you wonder.  These aren’t just losses, they are disheartening blowouts.  And now, to top it off, we have this embarrassing little sequence.  During live play, Jarrett Jack tucked the ball under his arm to tie his shoe for a good 8-10 seconds:

Deng, Hunter, Johnson, not a single one of them even make an attempt to poke the ball out.  There is clearly a lack of effort here that is a problem.  It seems like almost a level of frustration the Bulls are playing with, like they can’t beat these teams, so why try?  Vinny needs to fix that quickly, because this team may not be talented enough to beat Cleveland on the road, but they sure as hell should be beating Toronto at home, or at least not taking the worst loss the Bulls have had in years.

Maybe Swedish Television has this all figured out for us….

Farted?  I think Del Negro took a dump on a whiteboard and called it an offense.  That’s probably the smell.

What an embarrassing clip. I’d be so pissed to have paid $50+ to be at that game (mainly b/c I would have missed the Hawks game on TV and the Texas/Nebraska game, but also because all I read about that game was how the Bulls just never showed up, which apparently is what happened).

I’d be curious what the bulls announcers were saying? Stacy King was probably busy mispronouncing larger words, and Neil Funk was drooling at the Bulls cheerleaders.

Eh…not that big a deal. Last shot defense + Jack had his head up the entire time. He would have had time (especially with Deng guarding him and even more so from that far away) to react.

What’s more troubling is that Jack clearly travels on the play, haha.
