Curious why you thought Without Bias was crap? I’ve seen some other lukewarm reviews for it too. What specifically did you not like about it?

I guess it was just boring. I felt like it didn’t get into the impact of Bias on the sports world. The only really interesting part they had was the insider info about what actually transpired the night of his death. They knew it was all they had too, because they milked the shit out of it. Not to be cold-hearted, but it was almost TOO personal to the Bias family for me, and not enough connecting with me, the NBA fan and viewer who comprised (I assume) most of the audience last night.

Agreed with SND on the Bias 30 for 30. It was the worst one of the 4 I’ve seen – poor editing, they left out so many details and opportunities to create drama (i.e., draft night, when they found out how he died, etc.). It was pretty lame, I hope that someone doesn’t judge the entire 30 for 30 series on that one film, apparently done by a director who hasn’t done anything else substantially in his career.
