After reading some of the comments for this blog, I’d have to come to the conclusion that it’s safe to say the vast majority of the people commenting don’t know diddley squat about football, especially Bears football. Urlacher hit the nail right on the head with his comments. Bears football is a grind it out/defensive style of football. Always has been. Always will be. As far as Cutler goes, I thought he was over-rated as a Bronco and as a Bear he’s just plain garbage.

Throw a few more picks in the red zone, Jay.

think about what you said T-Dog how do you expect jay to keep us in those games (Cincy,Ariz,or Min) when the defence cant let the offence on the feild those teams punted what a whole 1 maybe 2 time in the ENTIRE game tell me how in the hell dose any Quarterback (farve,payton Manning, or even drew brees) keep them in the game let alone try to win a game oh and they desperately need a change at offencive cordinator and sorry to say but if lovie fails to see the problem them hes part of the problem and needs to be axed as well and no matter what running back or quarterback you put back there example (farve and peterson) they would be having the same season as cutler and forte oh and the defence has been MIA since 2005 so Brian needs to look at himself in the mirror and reconize himself as a problem as well

Where the hell do you get that? His throwing away winnable games with Green Bay, SF, Atlanta, etc.? Did he keep us in games with Cincy, Ariz, or Minn? A strong-armed, inaccurate QB with poor judgment does not “get you back in games”: defense, smart play-calling, and sharp execution does. The Bears have none of the above. Urlacher is right on. The Bears are averaging more yds/carry than any time in the last 4 years, but we’re LAST in run attempts! We don’t even try anymore. Thanks, Jay.

yeah – I love this coming from a guy who cant even travel with the team up to MN 4 hours away. This team has so many holes – Yeah we used to run and play D – well now our D is terrible and nonexistent. I will take Cutler for the long term – this organization better fix the rest

I think it is fairly well known that Urlacher is a champion calibre jackass. He’s like a white Ray Lewis,he loves the sound of his own voice and is big and bad enough to have never had someone tell him how dumb he is. I can’t wait for karma to catch up to this douchebag.

It isn’t Cutler’s fault you got hurt Brian and your defense is so bad it couldn’t stop a college team. So zip it up you weren’t so good last year! It isn’t Cutlers fault the receivers are running the wrong routes or tipping the balls in the air all the time. Its not Cutlers fault that the line doesn’t block anybody. Brian says we use to run first, yea we did but Forte is not gain yards like last year because there is no blocking Brian. Brian says Jay has change the Bears identity. Well yea Brian Jay had to since we don’t have a line or defense. The Bears identity was lost when Ditka was fired and has never been the same. We got a coach that don’t know what he is doing on defense the most yards given up since 1982. He replayed a clear fumble and lost a time out.
