Devin Hester is developing nicely into a solid wide receiver in this league.  With Cutler slinging the passes, it seems that Hester has improved significantly from last season.  That being said, don’t you miss the old days?  The days of 2006, when opposing teams were better served by kicking the ball into Lake Michigan than allowing Hester a shot at returning it?  Well I dug up this little treat which recounts all his touchdowns from that season.  Oh the memories.

And just for shits and giggles, here’s that Super Bowl return Super Tecmo Bowl style:

Nice stuff, I was actually thinking about this thing the other day and really do miss Devin Hester the kick returner, but I think he can be a very good receiver too. We got Johnny Knox, Danieal Manning and Earl Bennett anyway. I think were solid in the return game, but I sure miss those days. ah Super Bowl 41 opening kickoff

How fun was that season? The day after I got married the Bears absolutely crushed the Bills, up 40-0 in the 4th quarter. Ahh…memories.
