Certain guys are just associated with each other based on coming out in the same draft.  Jordan-Bowie, Williams-Paul, and James-Melo are examples of this.  For Bulls fans, Beasley-Rose looks to be one of those types of associations.  As we noted here at NQTC a few months ago, Beasley has not been spectacular on the court and has been downright awful off the court.  His substance abuse problems even led him to rehab in late August/early September.  While he’s young and a successful stint in rehab could help jumpstart his career, a recent picture that surfaced of him post-treatment is quite telling.  Here is a picture of what could have been if Paxson had selected Beasley instead of D-Rose:

Hmmm, that is not a picture of a person who has cleaned up their act.  I know Rose seemed like the obvious choice then and now, but thank god the Bulls chose him.  At least the Heat have an easy early-season schedule, because they might be without the services of their #1 draft pick for a while.  Just guessing.
