Detroit was clearly overpowered. Detroit looks a little rusty offensively (Did Zetterberg even suit up last night?). It’s gonna be fun watching these Hawks play. The way their front and backliners skate, they are gonna put constant pressure on everyone. I could say a lot, but when Hossa returns, calling those top two lines scary will be an understatment. Start your Duncan Keith Norris Trophy campaign!

I didn’t catch the game, but I like to hear that the Hawks were physical as well. Even though they made an effort to be more physical against Detroit last season, it seemed like they were just overpowered at times.
