"bad cutler" (two touchdowns, 300 yards, 34 yards rushing, command of the offense) is still far better than good rex and neckbeard. if he completes that slant on third down everyone is praising him. with the game on the line, he still looked pretty solid on that last drive. bad play call on fourth down there plus that ridiculous false start by pace are much bigger issues.

anybody else see the similarities between johnny knox and desean jackson, dropping the ball at the goaline at all. but really, best receiver drafted by the bears in how long...

@Stormin Norman Disciple

I agree with you, I like Roach as a player, but NOT as a guy calling the plays. In my opinion out of all the guys in the defense who should be a leader is Briggs. I mean wasn't he complaining and wanted to leave Chicago to be a star somewhere else? Granted, Briggs has been good, but there is no leader in the Bears defense.

@Arci: Agreed about Roach, but he does play with a lot of energy and make big plays. Mike Brown would be nice right now, or someone to be a leader in the defensive huddle.

I see that Cutler had a bad game, but remember Matt Ryan also threw 2 INTs. Would you say that he had a bad game?

Also, the defense was mediocre at best. Let's start with the special teams giving up that long run. Then just as Cutler drives the Bears down for a drive the defense gives it back. Missed assignments and Nick Roach should not be calling the defensive plays, they looked like they didn't know what they were doing.
