Billy Joel Song Immortalizes Bears Offensive Futility
Blog Down,
Chicago Bears found this great remake of a Billy Joel song ripping the Bears offense and Ron Turner. The offense has frustrated us all season, except Jay Cutler of course, and this song does nothing to remedy that, but it is clever and funny.
Did I mention the Bears are -13 against the Browns this week? If we lose that is pretty much the season down the drain. Let’s hope Turner and Lovie have a plan, because there are no gimme games with this offensive line.

There are a hell of a lot of teams that have seen a turn around with a coaching change this season. Broncos are a perfect example. Cutler is a hell of a QB, and with talent like Olsen, Hester, and Knox, there’s no reason the bears should’nt be rivaling the Saints for points scored. The defense has made due very well with some significant injuries, and if the offense was playing to even half their capability, we’d be laughing at our division. The issue is obviously coaching, and although I love Mr. Smith, Lovie either needs to get a new offensive coach, or a new job.

[...] Disgruntled Bears fans who felt that the best way to express their frustration with the Chicago offense was to remake a Billy Joel song. I’m certain that at some point it must have seemed logical, but I don’t know if that came after or before the 4th shot of tequila. <notqualifiedtocomment> [...]
