1) posting a link to Pippen Ain’t Easy is shameless self-promotion. I love it!
2) I agree with Zoner. I think that Nike confiscating the tape makes this more of a story. Although it’s subjective as to how MJ would have reacted, I agree that laughing it off, and then challenging Crawford (former IU player) one-on-one would have a. made for better publicity and b. have ruined this from really taking off as such a sensational story because Crawford would have been destroyed one-on-one, and then the story is over.
