The tossing of Ozzie was complete BS. I was there and Ozzie was just sitting at his perch in the dugout, Thornton threw a strike but the ump had an idiotic strike zone going and called it a ball. Ozzie literally didn't move, and the ump turns around and throws him out. At the time, no one knew who he was throwing out. He just pointed to the sky. Ozzie looked around in disbelief, realizing he had been thrown out, and then decided to discuss it with the ump. He was actually pretty calm asking "why the hell did I get thrown out, I was simply asking you a question." The fans started chanting his name, but this wasn't really a typical Ozzie tirade. There was no yelling or spitting or bobbing of the head. The throwing of the scorecard was just in disgust and frustration that he got thrown out for nothing.
