The dude has always related to his players, but his managerial skill are less than average. I actually saw him leave in Paul Bako, a lefty hitting catcher, to face a lefty pitcher, only to bring in Joe Girardi, a righty hitting catcher, the next half inning. I was like 13 and completely shit my pants. That is when I realized Dusty Baker was the anti-christ. For years I have been saying that Dusty Baker would be an insanely awesome bench coach.
