I agree with this Ethan person, though I have no idea who he is. We got rid of DeRosa to hopefully acquire this Peavy guy who pitched for the Padres last night… and is still pitching for the Padres. While I agree that it’s given Fontenot a chance to be an every day player, DeRosa’s versatility is sorely missed…

Wow, what a glaring omission by StorminNormin. The biggest reason they are playing shitty this year is because they got rid of their MVP – Mark DeRosa. I may just be bitter b/c I only got to wear my #7 jersey-t for 3 losses (aka round 1), but DeRosa could have filled in more than adequately for any of those injured (except for Soto & Fox of course). Dammit… the only good thing is watching him burn the sox last night.
