Exonerated Cubs Fan Prefers Day at Wrigley over Day in Jail

elaine-prisonThis little story was brought to my attention by Zoner, and it struck me as very interesting.  Thaddeus “T.J.” Jimenez was accused of the gang-related killing of 19-year old Eric Morro back in 1993.  He was sent to prison and has been serving time there ever since.  Recent evidence came to light completely freeing him of guilt and he was released last Friday.  I can’t imagine going through something like that for even a week, let alone serving 16 years in prison for a crime I did not commit.  So now that T.J. is free at the age of 30 and ready to live his life, what is it that he wants to do with his newfound freedom?

Watching a Chicago Cubs game is a top priority for a man who spent more than 16 years in prison for a killing he didn’t commit, his lawyer said.

“He’s a rabid Cubs fan,” Steve Drizin said of his client, Thaddeus “T.J.” Jimenez.

I mean, besides seeing my family, having a good meal, having sex, and sleeping in a comfortable bed, I would have to say that the first thing I would want to do is see a Cubs game at beautiful Wrigley Field.  On the other hand, a pretty boy like me probably wouldn’t have survived the 16 years, but that’s neither here nor there.

The Cubs should be competitive enough to keep pace with the others teams. I really like the Cubs . They’ve always been one of my favourite MLB teams to watch. I pass most time watching and looking for their news and videos. Last time I saw some hot videos of them here:

They really deserve our love so we must not stop supporting them .Go Go Cubs
