The Bulls Would Rather Have Chris Bosh Than That Stoud-e-something Guy

83009335FM013_RAPTORS_MAGICThe playoff race for the Bulls is in full-swing and most of us are preoccupied with the Bulls inevitable fall (by playoff elimination or first-round sweep).  There is some news stirring on the off-season front, however.  Mike McGraw of the Daily Herald reports:

Word is, though, the Bulls would feel much better about acquiring Bosh than they would Amare Stoudemire, another defensively-challenged forward that might be on the market. The biggest reason is Bosh’s personality. He sort of fits the mold of a Georgia Tech engineering student, serious and studious. The belief is Bosh would make a good teammate, while general managers aren’t quite sold on Stoudemire in that regard.

So if Bosh becomes trade bait this summer, the Bulls are sure to get involved. This is one reason why the Bulls should step up and re-sign Ben Gordon, so they’ll have spare parts to put in any potential deal. Tyrus Thomas and a player of Toronto’s choosing, not Rose or Joakim Noah, figures to be the offer, though the possibilities are endless.

Obviously there would be a lot of competition for Bosh’s services.  I also believe that Bosh would be a better fit for the Bulls, but to be honest I wouldn’t mind either one.  Pair either of those guys up with Rose and that is a perennial playoff team in the East.

Also, maybe keeping Gordon around on a qualifying deal this year will pay off.  If we can use him in a sign-and-trade, then I’m all for it.  Pax loves those ‘character’ guys.

im from Toronto and im a raps fan, and i know for a fact that all you Bulls fans shouldn’t hold your breathe on trading for Chris Bosh. I know for a fact that if the Raps keep playing like this and get a top 10 pick next year and some how sign Marion.. he will WANNT to stay n play for the raps n lead us back to the playoffs

I’m from T-dot, and why would Bosh want to play for the Bulls, their garbage. Toronto is a way better team than they will every be despite the record.

The Bulls really needs a center like Bosh and it would be better if he was there to bring back the pride of the MULTI-TITLED BULLS!

I am a raptors fan and from TO. With all the respect to the Bulls, you guys should ask Jordan to play again for the pride of the MULTI-TITLED BULLS!!
Cant think of any reason why CB4 wanna play for the Bulls. If he wants money and winning, he should have go to NYC and pair up with LeBron. If he wants the fame and reputation of carrying a team to the final, he should have stay in Toronto. But if he wanna get kill in some random street gunshot, Wind City is definitely the right choice!

If we were to trade Bosh, they we should throw in Kapono for Brad Miller, Luol Deng, and Ben Gordon if thats possible.

Hey fellow Canuck hosers! How about you learn how to spell the English language a bit before you go posting on a Yank sports site. One might argue with this literacy rate, CB4 is just getting tired of seeing signs held up at the arena that say “Re-sign Bos” and “Chri We Want You Bac”.

I didn’t realize how passionate Raptors fans were. It’s too bad they are complete idiots.
