Stupid Irresponsible Blogs

Are they sure he didn't test positive?
Not to long ago there were some reports about positive drug tests from the NFL Scouting Combine. Major names that supposedly tested positive included Boston College DT B.J. Raji, Illinois CB Vontae Davis, and a couple USC guys. Well, apparently none of those guys tested positive.
Those damn blogs and their premature, uninformed…oh, wait it was Sports Illustrated? Of course it was, not to mention everyone including ESPN ran with the story. So here we have multiple prospects tagged with “druggie” leading up to this weekend’s draft.
Obviously though, this is Goodell trying to crack down even on people who haven’t done anything wrong. “They all tested negative sir.” “You’re Positive?” “Yes, Positive.” Bastards!
I’m sure that NFL teams are a little more informed than these media outlets, but still, the stigma is there. When I hear the name B.J. Raji, the first thing I think of right now is “slipping stock, drugs.”
Honestly, let’s stick to the reporting of the Wonderlic scores though, because those are downright hilarious. However, it seems that no one pulled a Vince this year.
So yeah, draft. It’s coming up this weekend! I don’t know if you Bears fans get excited for the draft quite as much as I do as a Lions fan (not possible), but we’ll definitely have some coverage this week. Because there aren’t enough intriguing sports topics in Chicago these days, right?

Well shrinkage is a side effect of steroids and that does not seem to be an issue.
What? Everybody was thinking it!
