  • 3 NBA coaches were fined for bitching about the refereeing.  Guess who was one of them?  I’ll give you a clue.  It rhymes with Cock Shivers. [ESPN]
  • Will everyone just shut up about Soriano batting leadoff?  I agree that he should be hitting 3rd, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t extremely effective in the leadoff role.  [WV23]
  • An interview with Derrick Rose.  He’s so soft-spoken and modest, in total contrast to how dominant and assertive he can be on the court. [Docksquad]
  • Lance Briggs cut himself on a razor while shaving.  How many of these stupid injuries do you think are lies?  I bet Briggs was in a knife-fight or something.  As NQTC reader Rod Beck’s Mullet told me, better cuts on his hand than smashed lamborghinis on the highway. [Tribune]
  • SI asks if the Bulls are for real.  I think the answer is clearly…maybe. [SI]

Vinny’s gotta learn how to “lobby for calls”. I wasn’t aware that boxing turned into a 5 on 5 team sport played on a hardwood court. It bothers me a little bit but it’s playoff basketball, and in the end, Miller has to make those shots.

If Miller wasn’t so slow and white he would have easily made that finger-roll. Even with how the play unfolded, he didn’t get hit until after releasing the ball and still threw up an airball! I’m not saying it was easy, but you know a talented player would have come closer….and at least would have made the FTs

The bulls won’t be for real until they get a real coach… VDN is clueless and will hold back this team until they (hopefully) get rid of him for someone who knows what to do out there
