After I changed careers from part-time law clerk/part-time student/part-time blogger to paparazzi yesterday, I did a little reading and found out there is more to the Cutler photo than originally thought. Apparently he was on what essentially was a 3-day bender. He was out downtown boozing until the wee hours of the night on Thursday, [...]

Kyle Orton was a very solid quarterback that looked like he could be decent for a while in this league. Trading him for Jay Cutler didn’t cause much of a problem for Bears fans, however, seeing as that Cutler looks like he could be a great franchise quarterback for years to come.
That was on the [...]

After a long delay yesterday, the Cubs finally played their home opener. My toes are still cold from being out there, and the potato vodka I drank out of a flask is still sitting heavy in my stomach (it’s Passover so I can’t eat or drink most ballpark food). The game was amazing once it [...]

The 1987-88 Bulls won 50 games and looked like a very good young team. They advanced to the Conference semi-finals, but were defeated in 5 games by the far superior Pistons. See the Pistons were just coming into the peak of their franchise’s history up to that point, and the young Bulls were not quite [...]

The Sox are getting sued over a little t-shirt cannon incident. No worries, they have overcome disco demolition night and fans beating up opposing coaches. This shouldn’t be a problem. [...]

After Gregg blew another game the other day, a lot of people were mad at him. I know I am. This is a little soon, but you know how when you start to hate someone everything about them annoys you? Well I am in that place. Like why does he wear those stupid glasses? Does [...]

I am pretty busy today trying to figure out my plans for the opener, but I had to share this little bit of information with you. Apparently blwoing up the Bartman baseball (which didn’t work) was deemed by some to be too tame a tactic in the war against the Curse (which I don’t believe [...]

Mother Nature is trying to mess up the Cubs Home Opener, but I still think the game will be played. Although all the weathermen are saying there is about a 75% chance of rain well into the evening, I have reason to believe they can squeeze the game in. Here is the picture of the [...]

Reed Johnson made a filthy catch last night, saving a Grand Slam and possibly the game for the Cubbies. The best part by far is Prince Fielder tipping his cap to him at the end of the video. A classy move for a fat, angry man.

I guess this video would be a lot funnier if the antagonist wasn’t Jared Allen of the Vikings and the man being threatened wasn’t Jay Cutler. Allen claims he is going to “peel the back of [Cutler]’s head off the turf”. We’ll see.

I really don’t have a lot to say about this, it just seems like a horrible decision by ESPN. The kid died yesterday. And this after their horrible choice/oversight regarding a commercial yesterday. You can’t just play sad music and think that makes everything okay.

Against him, that is. I have always been upset with star treatment in the NBA. I don’t pay real close attention to the goings on of the league, but whenever I watch a game it’s pretty evident that it happens. D-Wade went through a three year period where he couldn’t enter the paint without going [...]
