If I Do a Headbutt, I Break All Of His Face (Quote of the Week)
There is a little rivalry brewing that no one gives a shit about. It did produce some strange quotes, however. Apparently the Suns Louis Amundson called the Nuggets Nene a dirty player and a “fake tough guy” after last weeks game in which Nene headbutted Amundson. Of course Nene took exception to that. Not only does he think he isn’t a dirty player, but he had this to say about the “alleged” headbutt:
“That was no head butt,” Nene said. “That is nothing … If I do a head butt, I break all of his face. That was nothing.”
Things just got a lot easier for NBA officials: If Amundson still has a face, there was no headbutt. Thank god Nene is here to simplify things for everyone.
Other strange Nene quotes arising from this incident:
On what he learned from his suspension: “You learn that you don’t let a stupid dude take you out of the game because he’s nobody.”
On self-control: “Coach (George Karl) told me I’ve got to be in more control. I just said, “George, I know have a lot of control. But I now learning even more patience.”
On Amundson’s game: “He doesn’t have much (game). He just goes over there and tries to get a contract.”
On Amundson’s comments: ““Who’s him? His comments don’t make any effect on me.’’
Since when was Nene such a hilarious quote machine? His quotes don’t make any effect on me though, I’m a blogger and he’s just some stupid dude on an NBA team.

I think you’re confusing us since Nene actually speaks as if he is Twittering. Only giving quotes or answers that are 140 characters or less. I’m a bit more eloquent in my actual interviews.
