Seriously, is Tyrus actually mentally slow, or does he have money on these games? From his non-pass to his laughing and joking as the game was coming close to slipping away to his inexcusable hoisting up of 20″ footers in crunch time, he isa detriment to the team.

While I agree Salmons has played great D on Pierce this series, he cannot get all of the credit…despite giving up a good 5 inches, Hinrich has shut Pierce down every time he gets this assignment. Sure, Pierce will make the occasional shot over Hinrich’s outstreched arms, but in the end Hinrich has kept him out of the lane, caused the Celtics offense to become dysfunctional b/c they run everything through Pierce since they think he has a huge advantage when in fact he doesn’t, and even stolen the ball a handful of times and caused Pierce to make a bunch of stupid decisions. Hinrich deserves a lot of credit for this, especially since it’s coming during crucial minutes of the game.
