I heard they have Michael Jordan’s jersey retired there. What a lame franchise. I hate Riley and I hope we can pry Wade away, but I agree it seems unlikely.

I think Brian makes a good case why Miami might not be able to sign Wade – what if they can’t afford him? I can’t imagine they have the best ticket sales, but it is a huge market. Who knows. I remember watching that draft in whatever year it was hoping that Wade would fall to seven. Unfortunately he went fourth and the Bulls got stuck with Hinrich and mediocrity.
Also, I think trading for Crosby is NOT a good idea, if not for any other reason that he would definitely take that roster spot that I know SN and myself are hoping goes to Hoffpauir. Plus, he’s terrible.

Being a Bulls fan here in Miami I could be the first to tell you that I would love for him to go to the Bulls and crush every “Miami” fans dream…they don’t appreciate him down here.
But I highly doubt it’ll happen because Riley has said in the LeBatard show that they’re going to begin negotiations this summer and Arison is pretty much going to give him a blank check to fill in.
BTW, I was at that game on Monday and the fans left in the middle of the 4th, that arena looked full because everyone from the upper bowl moved down to the lower one, including myself, to see the game of the year so far. Miami fans are the worst fans in ALL of sports and they don’t admire what they have.
