First impression of John Salmons: the Vladimir Guerrero of the NBA. Looks horrible doing all the things he does, a dislocated hip just waiting to happen. Jersey always half way untucked. I literally thought I saw pine tar on his warmups yesterday. Anyway at the end of the game you see that he had a reasonably effective game. Hit some jumpers that were the equivalent of hard hit singles and doubles. Although he also made the bone headed foul of Troy Murphy on a 3-point attempt after rotating late to the top of the arc. Continuing the analogy it reminded me of Vlad’s penchant for trying to stretch a single into a double and getting nailed by 2 or 3 feet. Lastly, they both rock the goatee. While the Bulls still ban headbands, would they ban eye black?
