[S]ources say the Wolves and Bulls are discussing Hinrich and Sefolosha for Collins and Brian Cardinal. The Wolves are intrigued with Hinrich’s ability to play the point and off-guard and see him as a good complement to Randy Foye. Collins and Cardinal have shorter-term contracts that bring Chicago payroll relief.

The article also talks about a three-way deal with the Suns for Amare, but as discussed above that is not likely.  I guess if we move Hinrich’s contract this is just a decent salary dump.  Who’s going to wear a bald-head hat with me to celebrate the Cardinal acquisition if it happens?

Why do the Bulls need payroll relief? If this happens I think I’ll just wig out.

Worse yet will be the possibility that Hughes will have to play again because then we would be short-handed in the backcourt. Gross.

I will be pisssssssssssed if Paxson actually goes through with this bullshit. I’ve already revealed my man-crush on Kirk Hinrich and how it would be difficult to see him in any trade, but this? Who ever wants anybody from the Minnesota T-wolves not named Kevin Garnett? Pax, you have pieces to build a good team, don’t waste it on shedding salary.

New latest buzz:
“The Kings likewise have talked with Chicago about a still-developing swap that would net Andres Nocioni and Drew Gooden’s $7.2 million expiring contract for [Brad] Miller and swingman John Salmons.”

So stupid.
