Frustrated With Team’s Defense, Del Negro Takes Matters Into Own Hands…Again

I propose a word called “Del Negro” to be used in basketball the same way that “Bush League” is used in baseball: To describe an amateur, unsportsmanlike play. Vinny did this once already against the Knicks earlier this year. Here he goes again with his patented “Scream Defense”. Maybe if he screamed at his own players in practice to play defense, he wouldn’t have to yell at Jason Kidd as much.
